Find Us & Things to Do

To come to Applecross is to connect with nature and the elements.

Directions:  How to find us?

  • We are 80 miles west of Inverness with a journey time of about 2 hours, though travel times can vary due to weather conditions and also traffic.
  • Applecross is served by two roads.  The first is the renowned ‘Bealach Na Ba’ (the ‘road of the cattle’), a single track mountain road with hair-pin bends towards the summit.  The second route to Applecross is the Coast Road via Torridon and Shieldaig.  Both routes run through spectacular and dramatic country.
  • Seawinds is situated about one-and-a-half miles south of the Applecross Inn and Shore Street , a 5 minute drive or 30 minutes on foot.
  • The Applecross Post Office & General Store is situated about 500m to the west of Seawinds, a 3 minute drive or 15 minutes on foot.
